UTS Retain Midlands Council Coin Collection and Maintenance Contract.  Following an extensive and complex tender, UTS are pleased to confirm that they have been retained by the Midlands Regional Local Authorities (MRLA) Consortia for a new contract to maintain and manage the cash collection and banking from the Pay & Display parking meters across the Counties of Westmeath, Longford, Offaly and Laois.  

One of the key requirements was to have all the meters reporting into a universal back office and as part of this requirement, UTS will install 80 Parkeon STRADA meters so that all meters will be managed by Parkeon’s powerful and flexible MyParkfolio Management Information System.  Each Local Authority will have access to the system with meter status available in real-time and UTS will provide ongoing support and training to the Local Authority Staff involved in using the system.
